Thank
you to those who participated in the Third Annual Friends for
Neurofibromatosis Bike Ride last September 15th by riding, volunteering, supporting, and
donating. We survived a very wet rainy day, but despite the
weather, we had a great turnout and raised close to $45,000 for NF Research!!
ABOUT THIS YEAR'S RIDE
The funds we raise will go to Neurofibromatosis, Inc. New England (www.nfincne.org), earmarked for the Harvard Center for NF and Allied Disorders (www.cnfad.org).
DATE: Saturday, September 13, 2008
THE ROUTES: This year we will have two routes:
1) Cape
Cod from end to end - Woods Hole to Provincetown (approx. 85 miles).
Over roads and trail, with flat and low hill areas. Great varied views.
Start at 9AM
2) The Cape Cod Rail Trail
- South Dennis to Wellfleet (approx. 28 miles). Almost flat, with no
car traffic to worry about. Later start (exact time TBD).
LOGISTICS:
- Biking jersey for all participants (correct sizes guaranteed only for registrations by 07/11/2008).
- Water/snack stops and lunch break are provided.
- Group dinner at Provincetown for all participants.
- Sag wagon to support those who need it.
- Transportation from Cape Cod Rail Trail to Provincetown.

PARTICIPATE IN THIS YEAR'S RIDE
RIDER COMMITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- $80 registration (help us order jerseys and estimate volunteers needed).
- Participate by raising a minimum of $500 ($80 above counts towards total)
- Commit
to raise $1,000 and the Saturday night room for two is
FREE in Provincetown ($80 above counts towards total) (rooms can only be gauranteed if commitment is made by 07/11/2008)
